Best time to visit Rishikesh for camping varies according to the season. Late September to Mid-November & early March to the first week of May is recommended. Avoid monsoon season to avoid unwanted hassles. Also, the rapids in the river Ganges are on the surge and staying away from water during the period is advisable.
